AI Tutor Tokens Usage

Overview

The AI Tutor is an interactive chatbot designed to assist students with academic questions anytime, anywhere. Available 24×7, AI Tutor supports Text, Voice, and Image inputs, providing responses based on students’ queries. This feature is accessible at the bottom of the website, allowing seamless assistance in a variety of formats.

How to Use AI Tutor

1. Open AI Tutor: Access AI Tutor at the bottom of the website for instant support.
2. Select Input Type: Choose from text, image, or voice input depending on your preference.
3. Receive Response: AI Tutor generates a detailed, curriculum-aligned response to your question, enhancing your understanding of the subject.

Input/Chat Methods and Token Usage

1. Text Input

• Functionality: Students can type questions or seek clarifications on any topic directly through text input.
• Token Usage: Each text-based response consumes approximately 200 to 500 AI Tokens.
• Cost Efficiency: For the cost of a pizza, students can generate around 10,000 text responses over a year, making it a highly affordable option for frequent academic assistance.

2. Image Input

• Functionality: Students can upload images, such as math problems or diagrams, and AI Tutor will analyze and respond with relevant answers or explanations.
• Token Usage: Each image-based response consumes about 3,000 to 5,000 AI Tokens.
• Cost Efficiency: For a price similar to a pizza, students can generate approximately 2,000 image responses over a year, offering economical support for visual and diagram-based queries.

3. Voice Input

• Functionality: Students can speak directly to AI Tutor by using voice input, making it easy to ask questions without typing.
• Token Usage: Each voice-based response requires approximately 1000 to 3000 AI Tokens.
• Cost Efficiency: For about the cost of a pizza, students can generate 3,000 to 5,000 voice responses over a year, providing budget-friendly assistance for spoken queries.

Viewing Token Usage

To monitor your AI Token usage:

1. Access Your AI Account: Select AI Account from the header menu to open your dashboard.
2. View Available Tokens: Your current Token balance is displayed at the top in green font.
3. Review Token Usage Details: Below the Token balance, a Token Usage tab shows details, including:
   • Model Used
   • Tokens Used
   • Date and Time of each response generated.

Free and Purchased Tokens

• Free Tokens: Each user starts with a set number of free tokens to explore the AI Tutor features at no cost.
• Token Purchase: Once the free tokens are used, students can buy additional tokens from the Shop page to continue using AI Tutor seamlessly.
